SUMMARY:Department of Defense Maintenance Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The Maintenance Symposium is the only official DoD event conducted by the Office of the Secretary of Defense that is entirely focused on the maintenance and sustainment of weapon systems and equipment. The Symposium is the premier forum for the exchange of ideas from the greatest maintenance and logistics minds in the country as participants discuss the pacing national security threats to the sustainment enterprise. \nOver 2\,300 maintainers from military\, government\, industry\, and academia are expected to converge at the Symposium in Salt Lake City\, Utah\, in 2024. This year’s program content is currently in development. Additionally\, the Symposium will include the inspirational\, high-energy\, annual Secretary of Defense Maintenance Awards Banquet and Ceremony recognizing the Department’s best maintainers.
