Advanced Model Based Enterprise Maturity Resources

Access the updated MBE Maturity Index and companion Guidebook – practical, industry-informed tools designed to help you access where you are, identify gaps, and build a clear path toward Model-Based Enterprise maturity.

Through cross-industry collaboration with Navy shipbuilders, DoD participants, and private manufacturers, MxD worked with its project partners to evaluate and refine the DOE-NNSA MBE Maturity Index. Gaps in the existing framework were identified and prioritized, resulting in an updated version of the index delivered to DOE-NNSA as the new industry standard. To complement the updated index, a user-friendly guidebook was developed to provide step-by-step assessment guidance, best practices, and strategies for connecting assessment results to actionable MBE investments and digital roadmap development.

The updated MBE Maturity Index and accompanying guidebook equip manufacturers across commercial and defense industries with a more accessible and actionable tool for advancing their digital enterprise capabilities. Navy ManTech is now better positioned to assess the MBE readiness of its OEMs and shipbuilding partners, supporting more effective planning for future ManTech projects. Broader adoption is expected across the defense industrial base, with the guidebook lowering the barrier to entry for organizations that previously struggled to act on their assessment results.
